you are aware that there's still people alive and kicking who were kept from voting, kept from getting loans, kept out of supposedly public establishments, and so on and so forth, right?

it was less than 50 years ago, ya know.

and furthermore, you know there are still far more people alive and kicking who did deny those meals, those services, those votes (and still would if they could), right?

closing your eyes and saying you've never seen it happen doesn't mean it hasn't. these people who it happened to are still alive even. that's how recent this is.

why else would i point out how i get to enjoy such things as being pulled over less often, being more likely to get a lighter sentence, more likely to get a promotion, or even more likely just to get better customer service all because of my arbitrary skin color?

being white is pretty great, it comes with its perks.

The Jews look like they are doing just fine, turn on the TV or watch a movie someday. So if you have a history of persecution you have an excuse to be poor and commit crime? What about what black people do to black people in Africa? Come to Cali and see how Mexicans take advantage of illegals/border brothers. Rise above it stop looking for excuses. LOL but you've never lived in any state that has large African-American populace... Are you scared to live amongst minorities?

I spent 3 months in the outback living with Aboriginies and it was an experience and privilege few get to come by without being an aborigine themselves. Living outside your comfort zone will do you wonders - you need to get out it will open up your bigoted worldview there commie...

Tis true. Some of those people in their 80's and 90's now see the error of their ways, some don't.

I don't have a problem with a 90 year old black man hating me because of the color of my skin, he's earned that with what he endured. I resent his great grand child hating me for the same reason. I resent fuckheads no matter what color they are telling that great grand child that he can't succeed because whitey is keeping him down. I resent the fact that fuckheads still think that Billybob's redneck bar-b-Que could post a sign saying no darkies and have a thriving business.

What you say that went on 50 years ago was true 50 years ago. Try to catch up.

Besides, it wasn't all white people, it was the white democratic party. Where's the democrat guilt? Is it true that since dems blocked the civil rights movement in the 50's that the dems will block it today if left uncheck?
