]Everything that has not happened in North America[/B] is directly related to weather change off the western coast of Colombia. Some of you should travel to the Amazon and see the rain forest. The earth is dying. You people are to ignorant to realize this.
Hey TIbia, do you even listen to yourself? :) What hasn't happened???

Do you see what you are saying here?

This little gulf, below the isthmus is keeping weather "things" from happening in the USA? And you brag you have seen the Amazon? Not near Columbia, you didn't.

Well, when politics change, they still can't drive Climate Change. So, two forces. One calm, the other shrill. One is Science and the other is Anti-Oil.

There is a tradition in politics that is similar to one in the legal profession: When evidence supports your position, make your argument based on the evidence, but when it argues against your position, ignore the evidence and appeal to emotion.

The evidence is piling up that “climate change,” formerly known as “global warming,” is losing evidential support, despite recent “preliminary findings” by a group of “experts” from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that a Washington Post editorial suggests may prove, “warming has boosted the chances, in some cases significantly, that certain unwelcome weather or weather-related disasters will occur.” The Post and other “true believers” ignore or ridicule a growing body of evidence rebutting their beliefs.

As opposed to the republican legislatures in the US who make rules against sharia law being enforced in the US? Nice.
Quote me a law that is against sharia. As I understand it, we are studiously ignoring sharia, in the Court as it is actually and technically irrelevant.

Sharia is a religious law and had nothing to do with the USA.

So, try to be more meaningful?

you could have just said Michigan and north carolina, instead of implying that there are many.

considering the amount of ink the left has given to these TWO states in their anti-sharia laws, you would think this was sweeping the nation.

curiously these laws are popular with the electorate and the only people getting their panties in a bunch over this shit is LEFTIES and sharia proponents.

these laws are a reaction to a movement internationally to establish separate sharia-only judicial systems in regins where the moslem population is large.

michigan is one of those places. if the militant moslem population finds these laws oppressive then they can certainly vote D next time. thats a constituency the left is welcome to embrace.

meanwhile, there is no outcry from non-militant moslems, because it does not change the courts or our system, the lack of outcry, even in the moslem heavy regions of michigan indicates that most of the populace (even among moslems) do not want sharia.

they do not want to be publicly flogged for wearing western clothes, nor do they wish their womenfolk stoned to death for perceived infractions of "moslem morality"

YOU are all twisted up inside over this, but nobody else is screaming about not having sharia in the courts of michigan and north carolina except of course El Papanatas. but he shits his britches if a white person crosses the street without the express written permission of La Raza.

kkkynes,

you forgot a few things.

firstly, you forgot arizona, kansas, louisiana, south dakota, oklahoma, and tennessee.*

secondly, the first amendment already exists and is sufficient.

third, you're too much of a pussy to just admit that these measures are just xenophobia designed to drive out bigoted republican idiots like you to the polls.

fourth, i'm not sure why there is any worry about sharia law considering what a small minority muslims in america are, and how xenophobic and bigoted people like you, who are a large segment of the population, are.

fifth, the much more pressing concern is christian "sharia" law, but you of course never have a peep to say about that.

LOL... I'm more worried about zombies than sharia law... It will never become law in the US or AU as it cannot co-exist with our current legal systems nor can any government or society maintain parallel legal systems... Apart from that there is no support from the public or politicians for any such endeavour...

No laws there. I know he said proposed. The DEMS and GREENS and BONEHEADS, propose all manner of stuff.

It is not meaningful, only partisan until it passes and passes muster with the courts, is that not so?

The South is full of idiots as is every other region of the USA. So what?

Quote me a law.

Strike that, what he said was "make rules."

"Christian Sharia Law" is an oxymoron. Christians adopted the constitution, which directly conflicts with Sharia Law...
so denying equal protection of the law to gays is constitutional?

trying to monitor every single pregnancy in the united states is a constitutional, secular mission?

preach it, sistah.

When did we give government the right to decide who can marry who?

What? Who is denying protection of law to gays. You go off on your litle rants and have no clue what you're talking about.

Half of the births in this country are paid for by Medicaid. Its a government program, so of course pregnancy is monitored. You're the one that wants more government involved in everybody's daily lives. So what the hell are you talking about?

So you post a picture of Mitt Romney, and now all of the sudden we are supposed to forget Obomber is running our country? The "anti-war" liberal that drops bombs? What is with the distraction, and why are you trying so hard to divert?.... Again

I believe buck is referring to denying gays a legal marriage and all the benefits that come along with it. My opinion is to have a civil union license that grants the same rights as a marriage license.

Then the gays are happy and the pillow clutchers get to keep the word marriage. Everybody wins.
