The poll I found shows 100% against syria invasion. This poll has exactly the same credibility as MSNBC poll of 291 people and UB thinking that 291 people speak for the other 210 million somehow. The overall poll was conducted on 700 people.
And what is 42% of 700?
294 (291 = 41.57% before rounding up)
So that explains the 291 number...

Outside of that, there is no mention of geographic influence, although, 4% have "some high school", with another 26% getting at least a GED

And an error of 3.7% !
