This was to refute the dr's ascertation that Canadians dont posses enough skill to refine oil.
In no way was it a slam from me against the intellect of anyone with the exception of the dr.
It was a reminder he may not be as smart as he believes, taking into account his comments in this thread.
As you would see in any of my postings I will defend people but I also have no trouble pointing out errors in some
members posts.
So, if my post offended anyone, I apologize. My post was directed at the quoted text in rebuttal.
i never insinuated that canadians are INCAPABLE of operating refineries, i asserted that they do not have the people needed to run said refineries, due to their LACK OF REFINERIES.
if canada REALLY wanted refineries, they could totally do it, but that would mean turning at least TWO of their year round deep water ports into a polluted industrial wasteland.
america already took that bullet for you.
youre welcome.
why do you feel the need to shout "Youre Not The Boss of Me!" and punch yourself in the nuts just to prove you could if you wanted to?
if the entire east bay refinery complex, it's employees and support infrastructure could be uprooted and moved to BC, that would have a lot of popular support all over california..
but that means turning vancouver into a giant polluted shithole.
do you really want it? maybe we can make that shit happen for you.w
Edit:
Wait, dont walk away! lemme sweeten the deal!
hows about we throw in The San Jose Sharks hockey team (you guys like hockey right?) and give you back Rick Moranis?
Ok Ok, ill also throw in a scuffed up Brian Adams cd and a doughnut...
come on, work with me here.
what do we gotta do to make this deal happen?
maybe we can scrape together a Timeshare in miami beach too...
