What's For Dinner Tonight?

Playing head chef is fun. I get to decide on presentation and whatnot, but most importantly I demand that nothing gives on the menu till I taste and OK it :-) mouth is just about OK. Wisdom tooth took about 45 seconds to remove, and a day later I was happily drinking beer smoking fags and eating space raiders, so its game on so far as I care :-)

Crab linguini with fresh whole Cornish crab :-) and this lil dude I found in the middle of the restaurant. Working on a river has its issues. I wonder if I could get some lab rat kinda critters and see just how strong peoples stomachs are. I've eaten squirell, pigeon, rook, all quite lovely, surely rat can't be that bad?

Tonight, I made chicken marsala. The greens are beans and "broccolini"…I did not know about broccolini prior to this meal. I made this because it is my sisters favorite meal, and she is visiting me for the first time in far too long. From what I read, it is a hybrid combining broccoli and kale…its delicious. Had to go to two grocery stores to find it, but she gets what she wants when she's over here. Good company, lots of wine, and good food.

Brocollini, um, OK :-D never heard of it. Dish L's lush though. I have two fav chicken pasta recipes. One is me mams, she never disclosed the recipe, basically leftover roast chicken and peas cooked into a creamy chicken stock based sauce. Fav meal in the world. I make it different, albeit simpler. Banana shallots and garlic, soften, reduce down a cup of wite wine, add chicken and mushrooms and ham if you want, some double cream, drizzle of pesto, serve with rigatonni. Fucking heaven.
:-) :-)

Havnt had a chance to cook anything of late, too busy being Mr head chef, barely keeping it together. As it is, I've not eaten properly since Friday. Anything I eat I just regurgitate, got a constant pain in my chest like I'm being stabbed, like non stop heart burn but much much worse, no sick days for me though. Ffs :'( anything that might be easy on my stomach I can't eat because work decided to stop paying me. Want to pay off Amsterdam next month then say fuck being a chef!
