The Freedom To Be Fat..Does Government Have The Right To "Outlaw" Unhealthy Foods?

based on my interactions with some vegans, i would argue differently. with the exception of sunni, the vegans i know are actually slightly overweight to quite overweight. many think that they can eat whatever they like, including many sweets that fall under the vegan category... and many don't exercise.

i had an ex-gf in college that went vegan right after we broke up. she was a budgie-butt within three months.
Not only that but the food is aweful. I'm sure there are some dishes which are great and happen to conform to vegan and are also quite healthy, but usually they suck. The worst thing to eat has to be vegan versions of nonvegan dishes. Disgusting and yet some people think they can eat this way and be healthier. Most of the people I have met that were vegans were overweight and swore by it. To me it just seems like another eating disorder.

I don't distinguish illicit drugs from pharmacological ones and don't use either for recreation really. This country is drug induced already one way or another. I view it as a personal choice to be made by adults and doctors.
You said you want illegal drugs legalized because it's the peoples choice what they do with their own bodies.

In another post you support the government outlawing trans fats, you want it both ways bud.

You are only concerned about your freedoms and say piss on you when it comes to other peoples freedoms of choice of what they do with their own body.

You're making it pretty darn clear my friend.

You can have them, but they are not allowed to be sold.
Old Buildings my man, old buildings.
Easy to rebuild, 3 gallon flush for even the biggest deuce drop.
Half true.

The UBC mandates you are not allowed to install a toilet with a tank larger than 1.6 gallons (residential)
So the only way you can have a larger toilet is a grandfathered existing, if it breaks or you want to remodel, you're shit out of luck.

I never made the claim he was, but I disagree with you.

My claim was that government (left or right) is taking away our liberties.
actually you said
Tell that to NYC, they outlawed large sized soft drinks!

The left in this country are out of their minds.
That was Bloomberg. Bloomberg is center-right. He is a strong advocate of "free-trade". He panders to Wall Street. He clashes with every union he comes across. He kisses ass to the CEO of Goldman Sachs. He is in favor of providing tax breaks to big corporations. He worries about the growth of China.

"It's not only to protect Americans. It's America's responsibility to protect people around the world who want to be free."

He would fit right in to either major party. He's center-right bro.

And that new moist toilet paper is jamming everything up because of the plumbing codes...

I think the missing link is that parents aren't putting Vicodin into happy meals. What choice do they have.....the children are obese and that isn't their choice....high fructose corn syrup gets them young. The most common health concerns are weight related and I thought it might make the taxpayers better off with less healthcare to pay for.

Only because the current excuse for a Republican party has come so far left...

Liberalism is a failed ideology that is flawed from the ground up. It doesn't work. It's not intended to. Its purpose is to grow government.

hey bro, if you don't want to answer, it's all good.
Hey bro, if you are afraid to ask, I'll infer what it is you don't have the balls to ask.

You want to ask me, if freedom has decreased for white people.

Yes, in 1950, white people had much more freedom to infringe upon the rights of everyone else. They actively exercised this freedom.
