Most likely you will be okay with just the side vents... as far as for them letting in light, my vents are so low, the ambient light that shines in is mostly diffused by the screen for the dust and what isn't shines on the pots, not the plants. I've never had a hermie issue... but I'd imagine...

You're way better off getting a digital pH pen... you should be checking the pH of your water/feed solution everytime... A pH of 6 is a little LOW... in soil, you want more of a 6.5-ish and in hydro/soil-less you go for more of a 5.8-6.0 And you need to get some pH up and down... I've never used...

Yup... I keep my room in the upper 60's when the lights are ON and the temps in my tent stay in the low 70's... and it works great for me cause I like to sleep in the cold anyway, not that upper 60's is all that cold. My only issue is that my wife is always bitchin'!

You're talking about my exact set-up almost to the tee... I would rock the bat-wing reflector... they're cheaper and in my opinion they offer the same or better light coverage than a cool tube. But what you have pictured there is not a cool tube, it is an air cooled hood, there is a difference...

Looks like too much nitrogen... but that would effect your flowers and you prolly woulda noticed that. I'm gonna say low temps.
