I do this exact same thing... 4 inch carbon filter, rated at 200 CFM with a 6" to 4" reducer attached to 6 inch ducting and I use an exhaust blower rated at 180 CFM... Its the CFM ratings that you should go by in trying to figure out if your air-moving equipment is compatible with each other...

I had some UK Cheese that did this very thing... I think you're just in that transition period right before they begin to swell... I wouldn't worry unless this continues for a while.

With air-cooled hoods you want to PUSH your air... that will cool the bulb better and will assist in keeping dust out of your hood. With a carbon filter you want to PULL your air through... that will offer you less air resistance, which will make your set-up that more efficient. We could argue...

Fan ON always... constant air movement. Helps with so many things from keeping molds and PM at bay to strengthening your stems and stalks through the constant movement. 24/7 fan ON.

If it were me... I'd of have started my FLUSH yesterday and the 10 days of flushing would give the plant the last little bit of time it needs to finish

Lets try and get you some answers... question 1: I personally have never heard this and I wouldn't try it with my expensive-ass TGA or Gage Green seeds... As far as I know, which I've read and heard, seedlings/sprouts get everything they need from water at that stage in their life... minerals...

Okay... HPS is always gonna be your best bet to FLOWER... But it will produce some heat. If you can't deal with the heat issue or if you just wanna save a dollar or two, you could go with the T5's... But I'm willing to bet you'd grow a run or two and say "damn, I shoulda bought that HPS"

congratulations... I like to set out a small dish of ONA Gel by my front door, and again by the door to the grow space. Combine that with the bucket being in your tent/grow space and you should be all good to go... on the smell issue anyway.

I prefer to flush for atleast 10 days before I chop, and I also like to give them 2-3 days of no water at the end of the flush... That way the plant uses up some or most of its stored moisture in the main stem and fan leaves. You gotta look at how fast the trichs are maturing and kinda do some...
