    The LED "Arms race".....

The funny thing is we actually had more buffalo in North America pre western discovery. We didn't have climate change then. The reality is automobiles are a big source of petroleum usage of course. It would seem most productive imho to spend more on carbon reclamation until renewable energy...

    The LED "Arms race".....

We build the boards here in the US. Our fixtures are machined out of US aluminium. They are machined here , anodized here, and assembled here in the US. Packaging is all made here as well. We do buy some things from China as we haven't found a reliable source here in the US yet. We are working...

    The LED "Arms race".....

Yep.....All while demanding a living wage ...... Then go buy straight from China where people earn less than $10 a day....... Sometimes I wonder if people ever sit back and think much. A service economy with a huge trade deficit will not last forever...... Just my .02 lol.

    Umol/Watt - "Impossible" Readings

Oh I know quite a bit more than you think lol. I don't have too much time to spend educating someone who already knows it all.....I'd rather spend my time writing papers for people who matter...IE Samsung ..... PS Mcree did some studies on spectrum and it sure flys in the face of Chlorophyll...

    Umol/Watt - "Impossible" Readings

The reds we are using on the fixture are clocking in at 3.1 umol/j @350 ma. We are running them at around 240ma. The whites are around 2.82 umol/j @65ma which we are at 70ma. A super red heavy spectrum would be more efficient on paper but there is a point of saturation especially at 660nm...

    Umol/Watt - "Impossible" Readings

Lol. Zero innovation. We will see. You are trying to tell me that a billion dollar company such as Osram has it all wrong and you've got it all figured out eh. Stupid Osram buying Fluence for north of 250 million. You seriously are the most arrogant person I've seen in a while lol. It will...

    Umol/Watt - "Impossible" Readings

OK........Maybe we have bitten off more than we can chew here guys.......Apparently, the LEDs that Hydrogrowled are using must be tapping into zero-point energy. 54 umol/w how do you compete with that?!

Digikey will be selling the new Samsung Horticulture Linear LED strips.

What company do you speak of? We have worked with them for 2 yrs plus. The horticulture red 660 was our suggestion as well as the blue and yet to be announced 634 nm. I've been telling them they should make a larger die 3030 660 and 634 with a drop in footprint for the 301b. Create a single...

Nichia makes citizen too... Most big corporations don't like being involved with cannabis. Samsung distances themselves from it as well. Its actually surprising they acknowledge us sometimes. Korea and Japan are a much more conservative bunch than here in the states.

I Need Your Help! There's a New Light on the Block

I have discussed it with those that are writing the new horticulture testing standard. I was invited to be on the board itself. I don't have time nor am I interested in it. Accuracy depends on how many points of data collected. Thousands of points over an 8x8 area have been discussed. I don't...
