    Always overwatering seeds in hydro

I had tried that but it seems it’s either low enough to not wet the cube at all, or the wicking action instantly soaks it

    Always overwatering seeds in hydro

Yeah... and then you’d have to piss about working out how often to flood and how long it takes the cube to dry right? thats my issue. The cubes soak up the water and get saturated

    Always overwatering seeds in hydro

I rarely start from seed but every now and then I bulk buy a pack of seeds to change my strain up a bit. I always get a set back when I first place my rapid rooters in my hydro system as the water splashes the hydroton and then wicks up and saturates the rapid rooters. I can’t manually water...

    Arduino programming

Just to throw a spanner in the works for you. try a raspberry pi central server running home assistant and then several WiFi enabled ESP32s controlling different devices that send data back to your PI. I found it much easier to program since there is already thousands of preprogrammed source...

    Jiffy/rockwool/rapid rooter automatic watering

Has anyone seen any automatic watering systems for jiffy pucks or similar? And had any experience with them? I plan on starting loads of seeds in jiffy pucks in the future and want to eventually automate the first 2-3 weeks of seeds in the pucks. Just not sure on the best method of determining...

    Low nitrogen calmag

I’ll try changing those dosages on my next run then cheers. If your using these two compounds I’ll stick with it and try again rather than using this calmag as I’d rather stick to cheap bulk powders I can buy

    Low nitrogen calmag

It does seem to dissolve fine when I add it in. I’m hoping this calmag works but going forward if I can get away without the extra iron from calmag I’d much prefer to use calcium edta powder and mag sulphate after I run out of this calmag.

    Low nitrogen calmag

It’s a strange one though. I seem to get burnt leaf tips showing nute burn - my ppm goes up daily suggesting too high nutes. Even with 1g/l of megacrop but I have these deficiencies too. I’ve been using calcium sulphate and magnesium sulphate lately but Im thinking they may be reacting with...

My calcium deficiency and magnesium are both all over the place since using high powered leds. It’s a nightmare. My tap water is 90 ppm on .5 ec scale so I’m guessing there is fuck all in that
