No I haven't needed to try it. It sounds good in theory...for a small area like a closet, in an otherwise temp controlled environment.

this could work with an air cooler. Not really the same as an air conditioner but a model like this uses little energy, also ionizes the air to help with smells, and moves air like a fan but also cools air enough to compensate for your lights. Just an idea...
