Breeding for authentic sativa happiness. Mextiza, Thai, Angola, Senegal...

Mextiza x (Thai Angola) males In the last 10 days since I put the plants to flower they have stretched a bit, but not that much I'd expect. I believe that the kind of lights I use are behind the restrained stretch I find lately. I've found diversity in these plants, there are some that start...

Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

The plants have started to grow fast, so I've put the Taskentis in the flowering tent. In a week I'll sort the males and take cuts of the best specimens. 100% Taskenti flowering. I'm also testing the clone I selected in the last run. Cheers

Red Snake (Oaxaca '79 x Colombian Punto Rojo)

We are in the boring part of it. Not much to see, other than a good germ rate (20/22). Cheers

    ACE Ethiopian

Hi Bangi x Ethiopian. 24 out of 24. Ethiopian. And Malawi Panama in the bottom row. Cheers

Red Snake (Oaxaca '79 x Colombian Punto Rojo)

I had the good luck to have already grown some seeds before they started to sell it, but since this is a very promising strain (great flavor, great effect) I want to look for another keeper. The one I have leans a lot to the Punto Rojo, with very very little size trichomes (but many of them) and...

Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

There they are, just as expected. Solid, bushy, dark, authentic. They've colonized the media, so I'll flower them in a week or maybe two. Cheers

    ACE Ethiopian

There they are. Bangi x Ethiopian are starting to sprout, and Ethiopians are growing quickly and they show a very sativish shape. Cheers

Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

These plants keep growing. Pure Taskenti made with the 2005' males. When they get about 40 cm tall I'll switch the timer to 12/12, it will take maybe a couple of weeks, and then I'll take cuts of all the females. And this one is the pure Taskenti mom I selected from the last run, with the...

    ACE Ethiopian

I couldn't resist the temptation and spent some more money in seeds. I just planted some from the limited edition ACE was offering. Bangi Haze x Ethiopian. I guess these will be faster and stronger than the original Ethiopian, but still uplifting, so I intend to take cuts and find a keeper. It...

Red Snake (Oaxaca '79 x Colombian Punto Rojo)

The seedbank has started to sell them. That's nice, I want to do a pheno hunt.

    ACE Ethiopian

Not much to see yet. Extremely thin and long first leaves, they look the real thing. 23 Ethiopian. The 6 plants in the bottom row are Malawi x Panamá. Cheers

Breeding for authentic sativa happiness. Mextiza, Thai, Angola, Senegal...

These are the TAM (Thai Angola Mextiza). I've just put them in the flower room, they are still quite little for the sizes of the plants that I usually move there, but I'm afraid they stretch too much. Remember it is the first time I grow them, so I'll test the Mextiza male I used. I don't know...

Breeding for authentic sativa happiness. Mextiza, Thai, Angola, Senegal...

This monster is the Thai Angola that came from outdoors. The pot is ridiculously little, just 3l, so it is normal it doesn't look real good. I don't know how much time it's been flowering but I believe it will need a couple more weeks. I'm eager to see the resulting cross with my Mextiza...

    ACE Ethiopian

I grew both Malawi and Panama some years ago and I can say without any doubt that Malawi is not a landrace. I have grown some real landraces and the difference is quite obvious. I didn't like the effect either, and that's the most important thing I seek. Malawi's effect is too similar to these...

    ACE Ethiopian

I look for something stronger as well, but I can't find anything that's not mixed with indicas, so I'll start with this one and try to improve potency and high energy. Have you got some idea? I'd like to have Oaxaca '79, that's the thing I try to mimic. Cheers

    ACE Ethiopian

Yes, I bought the seeds through their web page.

    ACE Ethiopian

This one is a strain ACE seeds made mixing some landraces from Ethiopia, as far as I know. The high should be gentle but nice, although growing such extreme sativas indoors is going to be a pain in the ass. Anyway, just another cannabic experience. As the breeders state on their page: "It...

Breeding for authentic sativa happiness. Mextiza, Thai, Angola, Senegal...

This is a Mextiza bush just two weeks (14 days!) after setting the timer to 12/12. It is already budding while normally most of the strains just stretch for the first weeks. This plant reacts very very quickly to the switch. Cheers

Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

These plants in the bottom are the new Taskentis made with 2005 males. Since I have to take cuts and save all the females, these will take some time. Cheers

Breeding for authentic sativa happiness. Mextiza, Thai, Angola, Senegal...

Mextiza Thai Angola. Magic sativa potion, I believe. There they are, I took some of them out of the tent for a better look. They look better and better every day. Now they are really growing and branching, and roots have colonized the coco, so I'll repot them and flower in one or two weeks...
