You should read what the manufacturers say about different wavelengths. The theories have been put to the test. Concentrating on significantly beneficial bands makes for the best technology, the rest is wasted space. I got this from an independent LED light builder in England, the guy knows...

You haven't looked thoroughly enough. There's plenty of impressed growers who have used both systems. The truth is what it is. Its not a pissing contest.

Your light can't hold a candle to a 240w Blackstar. If you were using a comparable, 400w hid system, my argument holds-up. And don't kid yourself, plenty of people have been busted for eight plants, or less.

Believe it or not, but there are several growers using the 240w Blackstar panel having good success in small grows. Do your own fact checking if you are truly interested. Talk to Hudsonvalley82, Kaptain Kron, Kush Groove, etc., for testimonials.

Not when you factor in the expense of dealing with heat, electricity used, infrared signature concealment, equipment life, etc. There are good LED lights for <$300 that will grow a nice closet full of good bud.
