Rare Dankness Grow report/reviews for Colorado

+ Indi and HS are friends and shared a pack, so while not 'all in one garden', i think it will be representative of the pack.

A question from Michigan for Colorado patients

it's not that hard, there are plenty of MMJ only docs that do nothing more the write prescrips. most are pretty sensible and if you are of a reasonable age and can reasonabliy talk the the talk without sounding like someone just trying to get a prescrip for getting high ... then should be...

    StealthGrow SG602 LED Grow

someone else posted this in another thread, thought it was relevant and pretty cool. the SG602 has a better PAR rating then I thought http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-CTouyh8JCI

Feeling the 'burn'... Pot regulators slashed in Colorado due to lack of funds!

yeah ... kind of a catch 22 .... don't license those that applied and they can't pay license fees .... waste a lot of $$ on stupid shit .... then wonder why there is a huge difference between budget and reality. if they had licensed half the number that applied by this time, they would have...

A question from Michigan for Colorado patients

a patient can grow their own, assign a caregiver or purchase from a dispensary. so the answer is D) All of the Above an overage is supposed to be 'destroyed' ... can't give/sell anything to a dispensary -they must supply their own or get it from another dispensary only - now regulated by...

    Led Users Unite!

nice!! hadn't seen this one yet. i've got an SG602, so kinda cool to see the actual PAR units and energy used. the apachetech looks REALLY interesting ... 1/2 the power draw and nearly the same PAR units. to me, this one seems a good bet for cabinet/stealth grows and avoiding potential thermal...

Is LED bad for your eyes?

glasses are helpful. when i bought my stealthgrow panel, I also picked up a pair of their eyeshades and they seem to help a lot. my wife gets headaches without em, i'm fine either way.

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

lol, i'm not butt hurt at all, i'm good to go with my knowledge and grow. but it bugs me when folks without real world knowledge on a subject inject hypotheticals (of course, this is RIU, so it's expected i guess) and then slam those trying to advise what is going on in 'their' space. please...

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

I'm done with arguing myself, Sensi and I are on the same page - practical results based on real world measurements that I personally recorded. dispute it and argue away all you want, but I know what's going on in MY space. 'nough said. peace

    StealthGrow SG602 LED Grow

weekly update: steady growth continues @ 3/4"- 1 1/4" daily. I'm pretty sure the light leak set me back in flowering by 2 weeks, sucks, but whatcha gonna do? budding on the AKs is coming along nicely, durbans are starting as well. pretty sure the tahoe pollen didn't take :( temps staying steady.

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

ok, you come check out the room and tell me it's not sealed. double layer of 3/8" on top, 3/8" on all sides, door weather sealed (including the bottom), all cracks/seams sealed with silicon. the only possible place for 'passive ventilation' is the back wall with pegboard - but the spaces behind...

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

lol, i get it .. but again, with recording temps with both devices in the space, why does one seem to dump more heat into the room? energy conversion efficiency maybe? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_conversion_efficiency

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

SG602 = 3amps 600w = 3amps tell me where the difference is again? Harekin - this is the first mention of aircooled. I never said anything about aircooled. I'm saying "My 602 has a lower heat load in the room by itself, then a 600w HID w/ballast does in the exact same space. no venting, no...

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

few growers run 'clean room' sealed grows (and they require a lot more design work then most people think). that room has about as much ventilation as a closet does, less even because the door is weather sealed to prevent light leaks. that's why i need to get the CO2 going, but that is not...

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

it puts out heat, but my room is in my garage and it's winter still, so I'm not saying it's thermal neutral at all. and for CO2, I open the door a couple times during lights on and will be adding an exhale bag shortly to boost CO2. dunno what to tell ya, i specifically recorded outdoor temps...

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

my room is sealed and not vented. i stick by what I said - a 600w HID (3amps), with ballast in that room heats up to 95+; my stealthgrow 602 LED (3amps also) heats up the same space to 82 MAX (same temps outside the space and outside).

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

ahhh, I didn't understand the short statement "It'll depend on your individual lamp too.", just needed clarification for what you meant. i took 'lamp' as 'bulb', not ballast or individual manufacturer of LEDs. makes more sense now :)

Led Growing Is The Way Of The Future My Friends

heat load will depend on the lamp used? and cause a rise of 10+ degrees vs another bulb? not sure where you are going with that one.
