20,000 Watt Medical Grow Op Construction

I ordered 10 1.5" Uniseals today on Ebay. I'll let you know how they seal in the sides of the bucket. I plan on using the 1.5" pipe as a drain back to the res. It will be placed as low as possible, to make sure most water is removed at solution changes. I would like the water to be oxygenated...

See What Some People are Getting Done (Farming 101)

Attention Crew. I have loaded the bilge with excess munitions. The lifeboats have been un-lashed and stowed with provisions. While all of us hope this will not be needed, it's time for us all to face the real truth: we may have been discovered. There is a 5 minute fuse placed forward of the main...

20,000 Watt Medical Grow Op Construction

WAIT! I was looking online to order some uniseals and it looks like they will work in curved aplications. There is a pic of a 2" pipe being uni-sealed into the side of a 4" pipe. If that will work, then a 2" pipe can easily be sealed into the side of a bucket.

I hear what you are saying about the flow and water temps. I need bigger tubing for the bloom room. I have to make it work with buckets because my plan is to lift the lid and plant root out and take that mass to a waiting bucket in the bloom room. I just need to figure out how to seal a 2" pipe...

Would you rather we talk about our bowel movements? Cause I put down a MONSTER this morning. It was nothing short of epic. Everything was perfect: size, shape, texture. So....Taffy, or graphic descriptions of our morning dumps. I should warn you...Burger Boss has a huge pool of adjectives to...

I have to imagine that Taf's new found wealth has created a bunch of new North Dakota friends for him. After all, a couple hundred bucks there is real money. Hell, he's probably got him a new posse. I can hear them now "Yeah, Taf...those chaps look great man."..."Dude, where'd you learn to grow...

Here's the direct and certified cut and paste from the Man himself: " I just came across a lump sum of money and I have stopped smoking for the time being. I have a closet grow going on with 6 seedlings 1 flowering plant and 6 plants in germination. everything is going much prettier now that I...

I'll see about getting some more pics. Most of what we have late in bloom right now is the Laughgani. The closeup pics don't come out too well under HPS light, and we don't remove the whole plant from the room till we've harvested about half of it. I can get you some good Laughgani pics of the...

Nice work, Dog, blowing through the whole thing. I suppose you saw the boy who wanted the cliff notes. 1600 watts is going to be perfect for that 5x5 room. 64 watts/sq ft is jamming light. Good luck and stick around for the fun.

I understand exactly what you are proposing with the screen false bottom. Just keep in mind that roots are persistant and can work their way through the finest of mesh with time. I may try something similar. The real difference between mine and the under current is my low flow volume. I really...

Well, for now Helper D has his towering NY Diesel to play with for some head stash. For my Head stash, I'm really digging the laughgani. It is just the type of high I enjoy. Until we get everything going in the new systems and the room producing what I know it can, there will be no more new...

20,000 Watt Medical Grow Op Construction

I hope the screens work and I hope you're lucky, too! Given the small amount of water I pump into each bucket, I'm hoping root clog will not be a problem. Fortunately, I'm building an 8 bucket unit at a time. If I do see a problem, it's not like there will be 95 buckets to change over...more...

I agree on the root clogging problem. As far as mixing nutes, all are pre mixed and PH'd before being pumped into the system. PH adjustments are done by accurately measuring the amount of PH down needed for every tenth of a PH point...so that's not a problem. We do that now when batching a tub...

FAN LEAVES turning light green but branches dark green, purple and blue spots.

That is a great nute. Great for keeping things simple. I'm a fan of 3 part systems...but that's just me. I like Cutting Edge nutes. The point is to the OP, make sure you're using complete nutes.

Check out our thread...especially the last 1/3. There are several pics of Bubbas being bent BIG TIME. We have plants 5 feet in diameter and just 4' tall including pot. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/407048-20-000-watt-medical-grow.html

    What Would You Do?

We're pretty much doing exactly what you'd want in our current grow. The only diff is, we have 99 plants to work with. But, about 50% of the plants are in bloom at any time. Ours is a perpetual harvest deal. We average taking around 6 clones/week. You would take 1-2 clones/week. Basically, you...

Is it Too Late to FIM/TOP?

I'm sticking with Supercropping. While we LST all of our plants, they are topped first. This gives us plenty of branches to tie down and out. Snapping the main branch (supper cropping) will concentrate growth outward, slow vertical growth, barely stunt the plant. If this is what you're looking...

Good Grow Room? (Pictures and Updates)

I haven't seen anything about what ppm you've been feeding at, or what your water source is. Maybe I missed it. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/407048-20-000-watt-medical-grow.html

    Design Help Needed

You are very lucky to have 66 F air to draw from. Draw from it! I would use an 8" inline exhause fan in the upper hole, and run an 8" duct with a booster fan from the lower hole to the far side of the room (booster fans are cheap). This would effectively position your air intake on the other...
