I just harvested a GFK myself I know what you mean but it doesn't smell bad to me. Kinda reminds me of the smell you get when carving a pumpkin. Pumpkin guts I suppose. But it cures into a beautiful oranges and cream smell :D

Every time I go to the hydro store brother ;) I'd build one room with 100% high wattage LED's. I'd have LED light SURROUNDING my plants lol. Never tried LED so it sounds kinda interesting.
