    Light hood vs Cool Tube??

I have a hood running 400w with a small inline 150mm connected to a digital thermostat. Charcoal filter is fitter to a 150mm axial controlled via an variac, also on a digital thermostat. With the hood fan running by itself, the temperature inside the tent does rise and this alone cannot reach...

4x4 tent ventillation help- any ideas?

So its just one big circulation tube then? Maybe segregate the two by placing a piece of wood between, that way the intake is not sucking in the exhaust.

Trying to decide between 250w hps and 400w hps (Little temp control available)

Maybe a HPS ran during the night with a hood, a 150mm simple inline fan, speed controlled.will take care of heat. (depending on where you live of course and mean temp etc). Then there is ventilation and smell to tend with. Charcoal filter (small) with a 150mm axial fan plugged into a...

    Medical Cannabis Question.

You probably have better luck hanging it outside in the shade somewhere and let the wind and your dry region cure it

    Ceramic heat emitters

Stumbled across these ceramic heat emitters while trying to solve a small problem of mine, and thought they could be an interesting option for heating a confined/small space...

    400w HID Grows!!

https://www.rollitup.org/t/scientific-evidence-that-selective-defoliation-is-beneficial.825108/#post-10430671 I do think there is to much fan leaf on yours. When I grow an outdoor house plant, I trim that right back also - I have never seen adverse effects. You have to admit also, 400w is not...

    400w HID Grows!!

The copper piping - water heater - must be living in Alaska? The smoke is smooth, mint in smell and taste.....medium high from it. Have you thought about getting rid of those big fan leaves, like a number 1 hair cut?

    400w HID Grows!!

Can not complain considering it had a very hard start in life. It was allowed to grow like that. When the cloning technique comes right, it will be Perpetual grow style with 6 in every 2 weeks or there abouts. Just hoping for one stem rods - 6 of those every 2 weeks will be just fine.

    What is wrong?

Have tried the method of not slicing the stalk also - fail. The compartment they are in is fairly humid - but not like a dome. The 'large cuttings', or I would like to say "tall" is due to they are going straight under 12/12 once roots show, or in my case, that would be never! What would be...

    What is wrong?

For two and a half months, have been trying to get clones to start rooting. Started this crusade when the idea for growing indoors got serious. Normally grow outdoor. Grabbed a couple of outdoor plants that are in pots and placed under a 150w HPS 24/0. Sure they had just started to turn...

Growing in a highrise apartment building

Concrete can be a good transmitter of sound - ever stayed in a hotel while their washing and drying or roof cooling equipment is going ? - DO you hear the droning sound transmitted by poorly non-isolated installed equipment ? Be very careful about where that transmitted sound will end up.

First timer with an interesting problem...

Use the light as a heater, which is controlled by a electronic thermostat. My tent swings between 25.3 and 26.1 degrees C - during lights on. The electronic thermostat brings in the fan at 25.5 and the inside temp rises to 26.1 before the temp starts to drop to 25.3 then switches off - the...
