Ebb and Flow Foam product or not - they have the same principals of sustaining plant life. NZ is hard to find products other's are use to. End of the world down here. That thread was last used in 2008 and is closed.

Strange - This is Al B Fuct method: Fytocell is not available here in NZ, perlite was the next best thing. What I have read - these two products are very interchangeable growing mediums. Have I missed something, why suggestions here seem to be leaning towards bad idea? My clones are...

After 24 hrs after soaking - the rockwool holds 1/2 cup of liquid...........is this too much ? You think I have put too much rockwool in the bottom......I could reduce a little without the pot floating away. Having that amount of water stored in the bottom could be a backup system also...

The problem is that heat in everyday language is not the same when talking about thermodynamics or the physical concept of heat. My answer anyways.

Thanks - I can read wiring diagrams a little - and if you can read this mess you can to. I chuck this together late last night, its the running gear for the 400w. Incoming phase and one side of cap into the ballast, out of the ballast into the ignitor, from the ignitor to the lamp - put all...

This is where my mother's will come from, Two of the 3 pots will become my mothers when I transplant to a bit bigger pot. The big pot will be going in the flowering tent to have a taste of when it is running correctly. Thinking by the time I have clones in the flowering tent running...

What I do need to know is: What size water pump to elevate water 0.750mm up and then fill the flood tray. Don't forget the flood tray is filled from the bottom, so the pump has to contend with the pressure from a full flood tray also. Any one got any ideas?

Closed air circuit for the hood - 150mm axial fan pushing over son-t and out. Fan is inside the tent, directly attached to the tent, and directly sucks from outside the tent. - but can anyone spot my mistake ?? By having the fan directly attached as shown, the light is off centre from...

Big fan to exhaust for fluro's / leds ?? I am using a 100mm in line axial fan to pull warmth out of my cloning tent that runs a total of 75w of fluro's. Does your fan motor hum with that speed controller when turning down or running on low speed?

Sealed unit between clone and mother, and for this fact, one would think having a 150w heater inside it would heat up. Heat does rise, but has no where to go, other than transfer through the roof to the cooler clone side (heat goes where it is colder). Starting to think the fan above is...

Wired up the three tent rooms today. Excuse the birds nest for wiring at the moment. Top temp is the flowering room, which controls the bottom right fan speed control (not finished wiring like the left at the moment). This temp is taken 450mm (18") below the son-t. No exhaust...
