I don't super crop for bigger buds. I do it for canopy management. When you SC the main shoots, the smaller shoots which would normally be starved of light have a chance to push through whilst the SC'd branch repairs. So whilst it don't give bigger buds it does give you more of the nice top colas.

A lid on yr tanks is a must in my eyes, keeps the humidity high which keeps ya roots happy between floods and direct light away so your roots are happy to come out and play.

Sorry mate, got to disagree. Bigger and better your roots, bigger and better your bud. Drill holes in your pots, encourage your roots to spread. Keep your roots covered, they dont need pitch darkness but no direct light. It's all about the roots.

u might wonna consider switching ducting. If you hold that cheap stuff up to the light you will see thousands of pin holes which if you are venting them lights straight out will be polluted with dirty smelly air. Have you tried accoustic ducting, thicker and excellent noise reduction.

I don't disbelieve you my friend. And I am not insulting your results. My beef is with GPW, it is a false measurement. It does not take into account the 1000W x 18hrs x 60 days. That is the equivalent of 1.5 full sog grows whilst you are vegging. your 1000w light has been burning 12 hrs a day...
