I would advise against very large CFLs. They are less efficient lumen/w and provide very little light to plants further than 5" away and are extremely expensive $/w or $/lumen. You are much better off with many cheap 23w bulbs. I highly recommend cheap bathroom vanity light fixtures like this...

Nice tutorial. You might have some people asking wtf Shellite is as its an Australian brand name for Naptha not found in the states. In Shellites case sometimes mixed with Hexane and Ethylbenzene. Make sure to purge completely.

Yup walmart always has pretty cheap jars. I just picked up a 12 pack of the 1 liter jars for $7 which is pretty cheap imo.
