New plants are often a bit ugly and deformed, if it's not a bug I wouldn't worry about it. Definitely does not look like burning imo. They look great btw. Good job on the LST and topping.

I can find the CFLs at my dollar store in 2 packs pretty regularly and now and then Home Depot has sales of four packs for $1. I got my vanity lights online. These are 4 bulb fixture for $4.50 which is more than I paid for my 6 bulb fixtures but it's also the first place I found via google...

Necrosis is generally pretty obvious as there would be discoloration around the holes. I'll guarantee its a bug. Want to post a pic?

So my elighter idea was a bit of a flop as I purchased the wrong temperature ones; these are too cool to quickly get full ignition but I'm sure the hotter ones would work. They do however work when it comes to slowly vaporizing bud and oil. Might be my new way of on the go dabs...

I really like oscillating pillar fans. They provide even air current over a varied height with no installation necessary and often have several convenient built in settings. They take up little room and are cheap as fuck - I've never been to a garage sale that didn't have one for $5 or less.
