It will not harm it one bit. Think about the inverse square law and how far away that light is... Your plants will be receiving much less than a lumen of light.

Purge it. You'll lose a completely unnoticeable amount, far less than one one hundredth of a gram.

Go with regular. They flower just as fast and as small as autos but you can take clones and don't rack up the extra 6-12hrs in energy costs. Just flower the regs while they are tiny if you want a small plant.

It's not revegged, it's a clone what was taken while the plant was in flower. Essentially you'll get a shoot at each node when put back into veg and while flowering each calyx represents a node.

Yup. I might wait a week to two after the flip and put it in right as they stop stretching. First week to two of flower is pretty much just straight vegetative stretch and you want primarily just your flowers above the screen.

I ran 2kW in a 4x8 and regretted it. I'd recommend 2x600s unless you live in a really cool area. I love my 600w in my 4x4.
