Does anyone water cure there bud?

I flush in hydro, I don't really bother in soil. Even then, I only flush if the plants are still really really green when the buds have matured fully and ripened. It's not salts and fertilizer in your plants. Your plants don't take up "fertilizer" although they can take up some salts, it's...

    Help needed any suggestion??

I had come concerns about heat, but a 400w in a 5x5 space almost certainly won't require an air cooled hood. You will likely need to vent the room whem temperatures come back up, but it's so cold in most places right now that unless you're in a small closet, a 400w should be fairly easy to keep...

    Help needed any suggestion??

I thought I responded to this post about the lights. One of those should be fine. Are those from ebay or HTGSupply? You'll be really happy with the results switching to HID's.

Quick Help with multiple deficiency problems in veg before it gets out of hand??

Sure, if you can raise temperatures reliable then great. Yeah, the eggcrate/light defuser would probably work pretty well. My only concern would be that the roots will start growing if you leave them on there too long and it could kind of weird/messy.

Quick Help with multiple deficiency problems in veg before it gets out of hand??

If you can raise the temps a little it might help, but DAMN those 6x6's hold a lot of moisture. I'm trying to think of something that could wick the moisture out, but I have nothing that I would consider safe. Maybe rice? Haha.

    Help needed any suggestion??

Very detailed, thank you. LIGHTS A 400w HPS will be better than these flouro's by leaps and bounds, but you'd be better off with at least a 600w in that space. That being said a 600w will probably cost double your $150.00 easily so if you can find a 400w for $150.00 that's a SOLID start...

Does anyone water cure there bud?

I think that's a scam or just bullshit. I've smoked unflushed bud and it tasted fine. I've tried over and over and to find any information that substantiates the claim that flowers/leaves contain fertilizers or salts. I can't find ANYTHING to corroberate that line of shit that I've only seen...

    circular light movers

Why would you plan to run a 1000w light dimmed 50%? Why not just run a 400w light if that's what you want? Dimming the lights is something that I only do when it gets too hot. The spectral change is a good trade off for temperature control. It's not worth the cost of multiple bulbs to swap...

    Help needed any suggestion??

I think we pretty know where you went wrong. You've stated the problems already. You started them in little cups (perfect) transplanted to 5q containers that allowed light to leak in. Light kills roots. Did those 5q containers have proper drainage? We know that your watering habits were...

    Help needed any suggestion??

Well something definitely went wrong. From the looks of things it's an overfert situation. Particularly nitrogen toxicity. What kind of nutrients did you use for flowering? The plants don't need as much nitrogen in the later stages of life and will develop very dark growth and begin "The...

Quick Help with multiple deficiency problems in veg before it gets out of hand??

Just let them go....let the cubes dry out. You can't do anything until they do. The stems are still deep purple and the plants are still working on recovery. Once they dry out and you can start feeding with light nutrients at a proper ph (you should make sure to calibrate your ph meter at...

    Help needed any suggestion??

Read my journals. I learned by starting over when things went to shit. You're not going to be able to figure out where you went wrong like this. MG Soil can grow plants just fine, but it's not the best route to take and it's actually more difficult than using a good quality soil. When/if...

Does anyone water cure there bud?

Oh I'm certain that's what it is. It's just illogical, lol. If the bud is better and the smoke is smoother, and it gets you higher, don't you think your ideals of the "perfect looking bud" would change? It didn't. There's something about great lookin' MJ and water cured bud looks like it got...

    Fox Farm feeding schedule

You aren't making any sense. Why would it matter how many plants you have? If you have 1 plant, you only need 1/2 gallon to water, if you have 10 plants, you need 5 gallons. So 1 plant = 1tsp = 2(tsp) x .5(gallons) 10 plants = 10tsp = 2 (tsp) x 5 (gallons) More plants means more water.

Does anyone water cure there bud?

I have water cured bud. I personally liked it very much, but bag appeal sucks. For some reason even though I don't sell bud, it matters to me. I don't really have any logical explanation for why that would be.

Water From The Top, Or Let The Plant Suck It Up From The Tray?

Well, since you used the "quote" feature I'd sure love to understand where you got the idea that I called anyone an asshole? You started off by implying that only one way is proper or "ideal" and that anyone who does it any other way is somehow cutting corners and their finished product would...

    Fox Farm feeding schedule

Are you following the feeding schedule on the bottle or on their published feeding schedule? How big are your plants? The feeding guidelines are per gallon of water. so if it says 2 teaspoons and you are going to use 5 gallons of water to water with you put in 10 teaspoons. 2 (tsp) x...

    Help needed any suggestion??

Seriously? NEW PLANTS. Start over with good quality soil and nutrients. That's the only lesson to be learned from this first grow. The plant grew, but you can see where things went wrong. This isn't going to teach you anything, it's just a waste of time. Do you not have access to more...

My first Indoor Grow, all Help Appreciated

Maybe I've just been lucky and used good quality digi timers? My mechanicals would fail to click off at times and leave my damn lights in flowering, I've had one stop working altogether. I did have 1 digital timer a long time ago that I bought at Home Depot and I remember (I was growing in...

Water From The Top, Or Let The Plant Suck It Up From The Tray?

But then if you read the whole thread or the entire inital post it stated that for him it is EASIER to water from the bottom. If it's more difficult to water from the bottom in your situation why would be discussing it? The question is that if it's easier to do from the bottom is does it work...
