Yes you can use mh on seedlings. I did It for a long time before switching to led for veg. As long as you keep light around 18 inches in beginning and have airflow you will be fine

Hows it going edward. Heres my humble opinion if you cant (for financial or other reasons) set up a proper grow you should just buy it from someone. If you cant do it right the end product wont be worth the time or effort you are gonna put into it.

I would spend $20 and get an mh bulb to use for veg then put the hps bulb In for flower. You can use the hps start to finish but for a beginner you will end up with strechy sparse plants.

Well in an 8x4 room id use both 600s as a 600 covers 4x4. Then id run the t5s in the veg room.
