Well it is a 6'' vented hood but i havent hooked all that up yet. I have one plant thats prob like 6 inches from the hood and i did the hand test and its not really hot i mean its warm but not uncomfterble. so i should have them like maybe a foot or wat?

And another thing FLIR cant see tho your walls. All it can see is the heat up againt the walls/windows. or heat coming out of vents like for your water heater/Dryer. So with that said ill tell you how i do it. first off i turn my shit on at 6am every morning and is off again at 6pm for flowering...

I would put them all under the 400watt if i was in your situation but now i have 3 1000watt switchable MH,HPS lights and i never put more then 6 under each and the ladys love it good luck

Ya those arnt flowers those are leves growing in its still to early my plats take average about 1-2 weeks to show but it depends on the persons set up and wen you start your 12/12.. good luck

And my grows i only do about 6 plants per light so i think 3 would be ideal some people like to be cheap and cram like fuckin all them under 1 but i like breathing room for my ladys and they love it so i guess its really up to you and how you wanna set it up... this is not me tellin you this is...
