Had birds my whole life til about 10 years ago(bird dogs and birds didn't work) I either had a cockatiel or parakeet,both are cool,strong personality and playful.if you go with a bird DO NOT buy from a pet store.with birds hand raised is the way to go !! They can be like a high maintenance...
