    DIY Icebox.

It hooks to one end of an air cooled reflector, while a fan is hooked to the other side to pull air through the trans cooler (which is acting as a heat exchanger by chilling the air) through the reflector then just exhausted into the room. You have to have a means of circulating cold water...

    DIY Icebox.

Here is my homemade Icebox, I made it from basically a transmission oil cooler from ebay for about $35 and a HVAC vent which was about $10 at most. There are probably several ways that this could be done. The only problem with the way I did it was the trans cooler I bought takes special fittings...

how do i get my thc up

Did you watch the video? it is pretty convincing. Besides "empirical" evidence for anything is very hard to come by. I do agree that stressing is not a good way to go. I believe any added potency is lost in yield. Just my 2 cents.

Can these PH products be used for hydroponic applications.

I saw these products for sale the other day in the pool supply section of a department store. They are quite cheap and a bottle would last a very long time. Does anyone know if they would be safe and practical to use in hydroponics.

    questions about aeroponics.

Another thought for you to consider. I like to use large coolers for my resevoirs and my cloners. I am talking about the 100 - 120 qt. picnic kind they are a little more money but they seal tight, water doesn't splash out, light doesn't get in, and mine came with a drain that a garden hose fits...

    questions about aeroponics.

I would recommend at least a 20 gallon tub for a smaller garden like yours. The larger the easier to control ppm and ph. With a 20 gallon you are probably only going to have about 15 gallons of water in it anyway. Pump size depends on how many sprayers, but again I would go large as you can. The...

High-pressure (aka "true") aeroponics - nutrient schedule?

If this has already been covered my apologies. As to the original question on nute strength in my own experience half the recommended strength has performed well for me using GH nutes. In a good aeroponic system the plants just seem to absorb better. On misting pumps you can find good ones...

    Highest quality ballast.

Thanks Luvvin for the response. I really expected more input. I am impatient so I already bought a new ballast went with the NextGen after looking around the other posts more. Seems like Lumatek had some issues with earlier models. Hopefully you cannot say I told you so in the future. Happy growing.

    Highest quality ballast.

I am buying a new 600w ballast to replace the cheapo I bought off of eBay that burnt up. I would like to hear peoples comments on which ones they think are the best and why. I am pretty much down to Lumatek or C.A.P. Nextgen, what do you think?

-secret you dont think this is directly related to Marijuana? "Enhanced UVB radiation stimulates production of phenolics and flavonoids that serve a protective role by accumulating in leaf epidermal cells" Plus this is further reinforcement as borntokillspam put it. Germination problem.

I think the germination mat cooked them, I broke a couple open, and they where just mush on the inside. I put the freebie White Widow Feminised seed in a room temp peat plug, and it is growing a nice long tail. Oh well lesson learned you dont need that much heat.

Here is an excerpt from a web site I found. [0006]Early experiments analyzing solar UVB effects demonstrated substantially reduced photosynthesis, plant growth, and crop yield. However, these early experiments were performed under unrealistic spectral balances in that high levels of UV were...

    Germination problem.

I recieved 10 G13xHaze 5 Super Thai Skunk 1, tried to germinate them in a damp paper towel. I put them in zip-loc bags on a towel covered germinating mat so they wouldnt get to hot, also I used PH adjusted RO water PHed to about 6. They almost all cracked within 12 hours but in the last 48 hours...
