With this system if you dont have to use the net pots I wouldnt, it might damage the roots when you try to seperate them to transplant.

If I hit the Mega Millions I wouldn't be buying seeds when I went to Amsterdam. I am paying under $500 for two iceboxes a chiller and a pump to recirculate plus reservoir that's not a big enough price difference for me to use a crappy window unit and any other type of AC would cost same or more.

I don't see why not I made two homemade iceboxes hooked one up to my 600w hps reflector in a sealed 3x5x7 room ran 65 degree tap water through it and it kept my room at 80 degrees. I plan on getting that chiller from eBay soon, if I had that on a reservoir temps would be very easy to control.

You can put it in any vented room, right outside your grow tent is fine as long as it is cool.

Actually part of this is wrong jberry caught it in another thread and pointed it out. You can only have the Icebox on the exhaust side of the reflector to avoid any condesation from splashing on you bulb which would cause it to explode. A big thanks to jberry!

A 6000 btu chiller actually is quite large as far as chillers go, it can cool 200 gallons 30 degrees. jberry is right on with the rest of his advice.

Alot of the heat problems in the reservoir people run into is having a submersible pump in it running 24/7. That can really heat the water up so there are ways to deal with it without getting a chiller( although a chiller is a great way to go if you can ). One thing you can do is get a recycle...

Looks great so far! A couple things you might want to consider is one try and attach your drains coming out of the bins into a PVC pipe then one tube into your reservoir so you don't have all those low spots in the drain lines holding water. Also a big picnic cooler the kind with the wheels on...

I think I will be using a cooler for my reservoir, in an aero setup, in the future. I saw a 120 QT. one with wheels that will make it easy to move around, and a drain that a garden hose will hook to for easy draining. Along with the above mentioned benefits.

Not more than to just test it out the pump and sprayers.
