They should have a little test rod for soil ph at your grow shop. Water that sits at 8 is way too basic for cannabis. Look into some liquid ph down (acid) at the shop as well. You'll need the liquid ph kit but its cheap and easy to understand. 3 gallon smart pots kick ass.. you'll have good...
