They do come pre-heatsinked and wired though. At one dollar per watt with sink and wiring thrown in, I think it's a solid deal, especially for newbies to DIY.

I'd pick Atreum's strips over PLC anyway. I'm not keen on the way the reds were implemented on PLC's. Atreum runs them the length of the strip.

So you disagree that Emerson drops off as PPFD increases? Because that's contrary to the widely accepted paradigm. The number I've seen is 600ppfd; above that Emerson has been reported to be negligible. If you have data that shows otherwise, please do share.

Last I knew, you lose the benefit of the Emerson Effect at the PPFD most growers target. More relevant if you're photon-poor, as I understand it.
