Well...it's day 52 and this is what they look like today. The first 2 pics are one plant, and the last 3 are the other. It looks to me like the 2nd plant is going to be ready sooner than the other, but I'm not sure. Since I pollinated a bud on each, I think I might cut the buds that are ready...

That's great that no nutes is working just fine. I know LR's don't like too much anyway, but it's good that you're doing this experiment to show that it's not needed.

what about when you have pollinated a bud on a plant, do you still do it the same way? i believe i pollinated early enough(i think week 4), so i'd think the seeds will be ready by the time i harvest.

Can't really tell in that light, but I've heard when 50-75% of the pistils are reddish brown or when trichomes are a milky amber color. How long have these been growing?

Some seedlings take a little longer. Are you growing soil or hydro, and much nutes are you giving?

I may be wrong, but I think the males usually grow taller so they can pollinate more effectively. Can you let them go longer? If you can but don't want to go too long I think you should give them 3 more weeks.

For that size space you will need at least 9000lumens(AT LEAST). To get that with regular cfl's you will need 6 100 watt equivelants. They put out 1600lumens each. If you are going to use cfl's I would get more than that, because cfl's don't penetrate the canopy that well(compared to HPS). I...
