    Pick one, daily update grow.

Well that was my problem, nutes from the start. 50% Luckily only 1 out of 4 in the hydro was a female, so I learned my lesson with less consequence than if they were all female. The one female in the hydro is not doing too well either, but hopefully she'll get better. The 2 girls in the soil...

    Light Socket

Noob- your fixture handling 85 watts has nothig to do with the actual bulb fitting in the socket, I just mentioned it so you don't burn your house down. In order to use that bulb you will need the medium to mogel adapter.

    Pick one, daily update grow.

Thanks a lot for the info doc. I hope you didn't mind me asking so many questions. I have one more question, when you grew the LR2 in hydro when did you start adding nutes, and at what percent(25,50)? Also did you go straight to bloom nutes?

    Pick one, daily update grow.

Hey doc. First of all I voted NL X Skunk. Second, I was looking at some of your LR2 pics and man you got your shit together. I'm growing some right now (my first grow), I got 2 in soil and 4 in a DWC. I'm having a little trouble with the ones in the bubbler so I wanted to ask you have tried...

Lowryder 2 with CFL's in my closet.

Hey peeps, Sorry I haven't updated in awhile(for those that care). In an earlier post I had said that I was pretty positive that I had 2 males and 2 females and 2 unknown. Well..it turns out that I was right about the 4, and the unknowns I ended up with 1 of each, so 3 and 3. Does anyone have...

    hydrogen peroxide Q's

I don't know about for sure, I'm just telling you I read and what I tried. If nothing is wrong with your plants I don't know if you need to put that much. What I read was for root rot. Maybe check around a little or wait until you get the good stuff.

    Don't understand this

First of all take it easy. Second it may not have to do with the type of light, but it definitely could have something to do with it being 85 degrees, and it also may have something to do with the fact that his 1000watt HPS is 3 feet away from the plants. Plants stretching isn't the only light...

    Hps Light Form Start

I'm pretty sure you need something higher in the spectrum for vegging. Usually for hid lighting you want MH for veg and HPS for flowering. You need more of the blues in the spectrum for veg which is what MH has, and more reds for flowering which is what HPS has. If you don't to spend the...

    Lowrider

I've heard that they stopped sending to the US (which I don't believe), but Dr Chronic does, or did. I ordered mine at the beginning of this month and got them 7days later. Quick, very discreet, what else could you want. I researched for awhile too and found, or read from others that if you...

    Light set up, give advice

Well first of all HPS is great for flowering so I'd get something higher in the light spectrum. Cfl's are a great option, they're cheap, they don't use much electricity, and they don't produce very much heat. If you go to Wal-Mart by the light bulbs you'll see a white package with blue on the...

    Lowrider

The only Lowryder's that are available right now are Lowryder and Lowryder 2, so that solves that. I'm not sure about the coke bottles. If ventilation is a problem then you don't want to use the HPS. Do you mean fluorescent lights? They can work if you use high output lights like T5's, cfl's...

    Is she ready?

I agree, keep a close eye on the trich's. I've heard that you want them to go from clear/white, to milky amber. Either way it looks good, great job evil. check out my grow... https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/51756-lowryder-2-cfl-s-my.html

    HPS bulb question

There are, but even with a 75 watt HPS I'm pretty sure you still need a HPS specific fixture.

    Don't understand this

If you aren't growing an autoflowering plant, I agree with custodio. Get some 6500K cfl's. Shit even if you are growing autoflowering plants, get the 6500's. check out my grow... https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/51756-lowryder-2-cfl-s-my.html

    Is my plant too small

If there's a Wal-Mart by you, they sell 6500K's. They are in a white package with blue border and say 6500K vertically on the left side. I think they are GE's. The 2700K's you can get at Home Depot, the package is white with green, and in very small print on the upper left side under a small...

    Is my plant too small

It's way better to under water than to over water. Some people water every couple days, some people water every 5 days. It depends on the environment your plant is in, (meaning the temp. by the plant, and how fast the water evaporates). Usually you can tell by gently putting your finger a...

    Is my plant too small

I agree, put the lights about 5 inches away. Another thing that might help is to have 6500K bulbs for this stage. Correct me if I'm wrong but your light look like they are 2700K's which are usually used in combination with 6500K or just used for flowering. Other than that, be patient. Looks...

I just got a 1000w for $100. It turns my bathroom into daylight!
