repacking carbon filters - I need help...

Seamaiden may be able to help you a bit more on this, but activated charcoal can be RE-ACTIVATED by baking it in the oven at about 400 or 450 for 45 min or so. This helps create more microscopic cracks and fissures in the charcoal, and thats how it traps the impurities.

Helppp what type of light is this

Fuck that, frame it!!! Put it on the mantle!! Next time you screw up, you can look at that and tell yourself it can always be worse!! LOL

    Wtf???

It's bizarre alright. It looks like I dropped bleach or acid on it. It's on 1 out of 18, so if it doesn't spread, I'm good with it. It's probably a genetic thing,

    Its all about worms

I'm liking this idea of worms in the pots. I'm sure that they'd be a benefit at any stage, but will I get a noticeable improvement adding them at the end of the veg cycle? I could put some corn meal around the top and add some more soil. Would 25 or 30 worms be enough for a 5 gal pot? They will...

    Wtf???

Whats up with the really bleached out spots? It's only on one or two leaves, on 2 different plants. No foliar feeding, not nute burn (to my knowledge) No bugs, not heat, I cant figure it. Surely someone has seen this before. I don't think it's serious, but I could be wrong.

    How much longer?

Flushing wouldn't cause mold, but If you have good draining soil, it shouldn't be an issue. But instead of flushing, you could just stop feeding nutes (except molasses), and just straight water them until you harvest. Let's the plant use up the stored nutes, and convert/use up the chlorophyll.

    mids

Growing bag seed "mid" DOES NOT equal mid quality results. My first grow put out some of the finest pot my friends and I have smoked. I do not believe for one minute that seeds from "wherever" will be BETTER. As good, I'll go for, but not BETTER. Most mid pot is the result of a commercial grow...

    How much longer?

Yeah, the trichs will tell the truth. It depends on what kind of an effect your after, and what strain. An Indica will be ready way sooner than a Sativa. I assume you have some way to see the trichs, so go by them. I prefer the effect I get when the trichs are still 50/50 clear/milky, most here...

    professional help please..

Are you wanting us to tell you that you'll be OK doing what you're doing? Indoor growing requires an investment in equipment, dirt (or a hydro set up), nutes, lights, all of which are crucial to a successful grow. If you don't want to spend any money on this, don't bother unless you are a fan of...

    problem with metal halide

What I find amazing is how people will minimize whatever they are doing, or minimize any risks involved, to either make themselves look better, or feel better about the situation. "Oh, it's just a bulb, that doesn't make me a thief" , or "It's just a couple of really small plants, they aint...

    Thick, or Thin it out?

They aint from clones, they're from seed, but since I have yet to get a male out of this batch of seeds, I have no reason to think I'll get one now. How much could I yield as is? Or would I be better off with 10-12 plants spaced further apart? Yeah, if the last grow was any indication, I'm gonna...

A question about the dreaded "Hermie"

I'm working towards that end. I just want to be sure that I can at least reproduce this line, and I gotta work with whats available. I am absolutely sure that it's a better, more efficient way to go, but that room is the only one nobody is allowed to go into. I keep neg air press in it so no...

    Thick, or Thin it out?

I don't cut anything off the plants themselves, if it doesn't fall off, it stays on. I was wondering more about thinning the herd rather than thinning the plants. Will I get a larger yield like this with 16 crammed in there or would I be better off with like 12 plants that get light all the way...

Oh Wow! TINY New Plasma Bulbs

I do believe that what we know as the Kelvin scale for Color temp was loosely based on the kelvin thermo scale, as it is based on a comparison to the color of light produced by the sun at noon (5600 K) And THAT one required more thought than I even care to exert at this time, so I'm gonna hit...

    Are These Trichromes?? **PICS**

What you're seeing are called "Pistils". Stamens are what hold the "anthers" to the plant, the anthers being the balls of the male. pistillate = Female Stamenate = Male Even sinsemilla produces a seed here and there. I have no idea of the mechanics behind it, but they do. I have found seeds in...

Oh Wow! TINY New Plasma Bulbs

OK, I'll buy that. But 2 words come to mind, Common Usage. In 40 years, I have never heard of anyone referring to the temperature outside in degrees kelvin. Celsius, yes. Fahrenheit, yes. Absolute temperature values as expressed in kelvins (K) are RARELY (if ever) used outside of the scientific...

    Thick, or Thin it out?

Here is what I'm working with. I'm ready to flower them at any time. I have 16 plants in a 7' x 7' area, under 5 400w lights. Here it is: Which would give me a bigger yield, keeping them as they are, or thin them out so that the lower branches get more light? And if I do keep things as...

A question about the dreaded "Hermie"

For the SECOND time, where would I store the clones? Or the mothers? I have 1 room that I use to start seedlings, veg, and flower. The rest of the house is out of the question for obvious reasons. I don't want alot of little plants hanging around when we have company. I am looking at putting up...

Oh Wow! TINY New Plasma Bulbs

Dude, degrees Kelvin is a measurement that expresses light COLOR. It expresses the part of the light spectrum that are being produced by any given light source. It has nothing whatsoever to do with degrees F or C, or any kind of HEAT measurement. Technology is progressing at an exponential rate...
