    Grow Light Question

Easiest would be the 135w QB kit (growerslights.com will preassemble it if needed). If he's up for more involved DIY, Samsung or Bridgelux strips would be great.

Thinking of running them at that wattage? Edit: I mean long term, as opposed to just testing them out.

Need more light, but how should I do it?

In a perfect environment, against good LED, the HPS loses every time, man. 400w of LED will pull more weight than a 600w HPS (and the quality will be at least equal, if not better). We've seen it happen plenty of times, and for growers that have their HPS dialed in, for that matter. There's no...

Need more light, but how should I do it?

Honestly, for a 6x6, you're probably looking at around $1,500 for a DIY setup. The question is do you want to save some money up front (HID), or more money over a couple of years (LED)?

Need more light, but how should I do it?

There are many, many former HID growers here who will tell you that the quality of their bud improved after they switched to LED. No offense, but you're running cheap Chinese blurples, which are not at all the same as running good COBs, or strips/boards with quality mid-power diodes from Samsung...

Need more light, but how should I do it?

Naw, that would be a waste of energy.

    Straight forward LED question

Get the right kind of woman - one that won't make you quit PornHub. Better yet, get one that watches it with you!

Need more light, but how should I do it?

For a first run, you're doing just fine, man. And I agree - at roughly 70 square feet of canopy, 2,600w of good LED will rock that space.

Need more light, but how should I do it?

He'll get more weight for the wattage with his boards, and the savings in energy usage will more than make up the difference in start-up costs.

    Lukios Secret Garden pt II

The garden's going decently. Still the ever-present struggle with temp and humidity! Starting my first hempy run, using Mega Crop. I've only done ROLS before this, so it'll be an interesting experience.

    Quantum Boards Grow

Looking good, Cap. FYI, over in @pulpoinspace QB96 thread, there are reports of the thermal pads leaking some sort of discharge after they've been heated up. Not sure if it's a ubiquitous issue, but thought you might like to know, and maybe have a chat with @Stephenj37826 or @robincnn - whatever...

    My DIY 4xQB120 Flowering Light

As usual, I over-vegged the plants (due to space and time constraints), and controlling the environment in an unfinished Michigan basement is a constant struggle, but all things considered, it's going well!

    My DIY 4xQB120 Flowering Light

I would absolutely recommend my setup. I liked it well enough to build a second, identical fixture. I would, however, design it slightly differently if I were doing it today - I would widen the frame to spread the boards out a little bit more to get better coverage on the sides of the tent...

Need a lil Qb rig design help!

It varies, but by mid-to-late flower some buds are within a couple of inches. The average at that stage is probably about 6-8 inches? With better canopy control, I would probably shoot for an even 6 inches across the board.

Need a lil Qb rig design help!

    @CoB_nUt you're running the 96s on a 24v driver? I would have thought a 54v?

Can't delete, just please ignore post. Thanks.

Naw, man, no need to bail on the conversation! Just let it roll, and you may get the feedback you're looking for. And if not, no harm done. You could also post over on the forum at ledgardener.com - some clever people are doing interesting things over there.
