You just have to understand receptors, and know what receptors every drug hits, then you'll know what has cross-tolerance with what.

Alcohol potentiates ketamine.

Nope, alcohol only has a cross tolerance to other GABA agonists, such as benzos (xanax, klonopin, ativan) or ambien and lunesta. It won't effect 5ht2a agonists. To a lower extent it DOES have cross tolerance with Ketamine though :)
