Are 4 of these good for veg stage for 1 lowryder

The first bulbs you posted. This Feit "plant grow light" doesn't have any quality that makes it better for growing - that's just marketing bullshit. Remove the diffuser from whatever bulbs you buy. That will give you more light. Just cut the plastic dome off where it meets the base.

    Some DIY LED questions....

I've never been to the old country (my people are originally from Wales), so I don't know much about your countryside, but I have wondered how many good guerilla spots there could be? Just looking at the total square miles and total population, it seems like it could be problematic finding...

Samsung F Series LED Strip Build for a 3x3' (links for ALL parts inc.)

You could be right. But it looks like there is some mottling starting on one of the lower leaves, which is another thing I've learned to look out for when the average temp is low. @skoomd any idea for how many hours of the lights-on period the temp is at 79°? Because if it's only a couple at the...

    Shenzhen quantum board MEIJU LIGHT

Volcanoes in Hawaii, earthquakes in California... The price you pay for perpetual summer. I'll stay right here in Michigan. A couple of snowstorms a year just mean I get to stay home from work.

Samsung F Series LED Strip Build for a 3x3' (links for ALL parts inc.)

I honestly think you need to up your temps, bro. Looks just like my plants did in the first stages of mag deficiency, and the thing that fixed it was getting my temps up over 80°F.

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

There are many examples of growers doing much, much better than .7 g/w, here on the forum. I don't mean to offend, but I would definitely consider such results to be user error.

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

To hit 650 watts, I'd opt for six 4 foot strips powered by two HLG-320H-48A drivers.

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

Properly used, 500 watts of F series strips will easily and definitively outperform a 600w HPS by a wide margin.

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

It can definitely be done for much less. Five double-row 4 foot strips - or even four run at higher current per - and the HLG-480H-48A would handle a 4x4 quite well.

Either of those QB setups would do the job for sure, but I think that exceeds his budget by a fair amount.

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Best of luck. I'm 10 QBs deep (8 QB120s and 2 QB288s) with nary a problem. But I guess lemons are inevitable.

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

Another option - if you're hesitant to build your own - would be one of the pre-built fixtures from www.diyleduk.co.uk. He has a 500w strip light kit for 400£, and offers the option of pre-assembled for an added fee. Four of those would rock your space and stay within your budget, with money to...

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

The strips are so much better than a Mars light that they really don't even belong in the same conversation, except to point out how shitty and overpriced Mars lights really are. It will be worth every penny and every second spent building it - many times over. Do yourself a favor and forget...

8'x8' led light setup 2500$ budget

For a 4x8, but he's trying to fill an 8x8. OP, don't be daunted by the difficulty of DIY. There's a wealth of information here on this forum, and many more resources online. You would have no difficulty in finding plenty of people who would be happy to walk you through the process of building a...

    LED’s and calmag ?

^^^^What CobKits said. The temp of your grow space is key. Getting temps over 80°F changed the game for me. Although there are those who - for whatever reason - seem to do just fine in the mid 70's, the prevailing and pervading paradigm here in the LED forum is "keep your temps up".

    New style Samsung LM561C Board

I expect you're correct about a lot of these boards having Epistar diodes, but this "black dot are lm561b nonsense" does have some background. I have Samsung Acuity strips with the black dot.
