You should have germinated them in water first. I let mine soak in water until they sprout and then plant them in soil face down. Out door growing is how I do it, but I germinate mine, put them in pots and then put them outside. It's just easier that way.

I agree, the chances of growing really good bud aren't very good when you just get them from a random bag of reg weed. Try seed banks online like Dr. chronic or I heard Attitude is good too.

No problem=] Indiana is below Michigan, next to Illinois and Ohio. The weather here is great for growing outdoors, it's always nice, hot and sunny=] But you're on the total opposite side of the country as I am so that's probably why it's screwed up by you lol.

Indica plants have short fat leaves, sativa plants have long skinny leaves. Indica buds come out shorter but fatter, sativa buds are usually long and skinny.
