JJ, I've used bedrooms before...what I do with windows is to build a light proof box to cover then. Some plywood and 2x4s and if weather permits...you can cut a hole for exhaust fan vent and leave window cracked. Works good for blocking light and controlling temps. JD

That's not what I asked. LED manufacturers are fond of stating watts as "replacement watts" meaning that it will replace a 1000w hid but may only pull 300 watts at the wall. How much actual electrical it draws is a good thing for you to know. JD

Good morning Curious, Wateroots are larger, fatter and develop in hydro. Soil roots are really fine. It's one reason why it's best to do hydro plants all in hydro rather then starting in dirt. You get delay from plant having to grow more appropriate roots. Not sure what happens underneath...

You're gonna have to talk to the led DIY guys. I have some ideas that may head you in the right direction. Buy a new driver with dimmer. Or maybe the actual light has modular components. Maybe you can disconnect some of the led "sections" Not talking individual diodes. You need someone...

Well that's a completely different situation and question. Straight coco drains well enough that overwatering just isn't an issue. JD

You can underwater coco but rarely is it overwatered...shoot for 20% runoff

Hi SG, You seem to be taking a thorough approach. On your exhaust fan...I've had really good luck with Panasonic Whisperline fans. I use a 300cfm on my scrubber...works good and pretty quiet. This is the 3rd one I've owned. I like them. JD
