One gallon pot...How much will it yield?

Kinda true...I tried flowering a few plants in 1 gal and ended up-potting them because they would dry too fast. So auto irrigation with multiple feeds a day...or hand water twice and it can be done. JD

Sativas are actually easier to grow

It's a popular strain from Ace and now you can get seeds specific to the Thai pheno. Not easy to grow as you know...but with oral ingestion...I've had highs bordering on psychedelic and quite spiritual if done while fasting. I let the strain go because I only had fem genetics. (order error)...

Hi Powertech, I've grown out three different phenos of Ace Golden Tiger which is a Malawi crossed with Meao Thai ...same strain as in the Desfran...actually same plant (Cannabiogen shares genetics with Ace) Anyway...the Defran is going to be tall...really tall from both sides of the family...

    Light Length

No not the light cycles. Yes people try different schedules...but for a beginner, just stick to basics. 18/6 veg and of course 12/12 for bloom. Spindly could be from height of light, low intensity, strain related or whatever... But generally not light schedule...or that's my experience. JD

    Need help diagnosing plants

Ryan...what Myke said here...is what you should be doing. You may have washed out some of your coco calmag buffering too...so I suggest that you add back in a full dose of calmag with each watering or flushing. Is your RH too low? JD

    Light distance at professional facilities

They've been making water cooled HIDs for years and now even leds. Philips worked with a reflector manufacturer to come up with a good light placement...relying on light density to get overlap...thus allowing lights to be higher. So lights are closer together... JD

Bob, You should be watering enough to get some runoff. If you do that...underwatering symptoms will be unlikely. JD

    Help me please

I'm not an led expert but people grow with mars lights all the time. That's an odd shaped tent...but if the light fits in there well...and it's actually 300w at the wall...it should work. JD

    Start of calmag deficiency?

Do you have epsom salts? Maybe stop the calmag and go with tap water plus epsom salts (1/2 tsp per gal) to see if the brown spots worsen or get better. JD

    Start of calmag deficiency?

OK Bose...a couple of things you can do. Stop spraying the plant. Use open pans or trays of water near grow but getting the plants wet all the time WILL lead to fungus. and where's the picture of an ice cube...you have to do your part here dude. JD

    Start of calmag deficiency?

Bose...don't jump the gun and start treating a fungus before you're sure that's what it is. Ca problems often occur with brown spots. Sheesh it puzzles me that guys water their plants with water they know nothing about. If you already have loads of Ca and now, and with calmag you are getting...
