I haven't grown that strain...but some have darker or lighter leaves. But super dark green from excess N is almost a black. I can't say it's perfectly normal...but like I said...not burnt. Plant will grow out of it. JD

eb, Not burned...just a little dark. You would see tip necrosis with N excess. JD

Hi BoS, SSH is still in white pistil stage. Long time to go...though final stages move faster. I'd definitely double check timer...and for long winded plants I use 11/13. And cut out all N. I have some 8 weekers nearing finish side-by-side with a pure sativa landrace which is still growing...

Zero nutes in coco...so you need to feed from the getgo. Tiny seedlings will only need 200-250ppm. Hard to overwater coco...unless it's really fine. JD

CD, Seed starting can be problematic. In hydro systems, you don't want lots of stray crap floating around. Can clog things up. That's why I feel rockwool works best for hydro. Never used rapid rooters? Do they break apart into bits after awhile? But regarding your question. Yes plant...

Hi Guys, I grow in waterfarms...but this is an issue for any hydro system using netcups of hydroton. I have never just stuck a seedling in with the rocks. Small rockwool cubes work perfectly. And like many hydro system...you have to hand water till roots are big enough. JD

DAT, I wouldn't worry about the yellow tips. Your leaves still contain much stored nutrients. Though the combination of your flush time plus whatever time you need to get amber...that might be too long. You'll have to decide. JD

WB, The micro-seed thing doesn't effect every strain...but some, when undergoing the fem process, get confused. Not sure of technical reasons. With regular seeds but no males...and you still get seed-like thingys...probably from a herm. If you gave it enough time...seeds will mature. JD

Wasn't clear to me what type of seed. Femming a strain sometimes produce "micro-seeds"...which aren't true seeds. They will pop when you smoke them. I stopped growing fems for this reason. JD

bizzle, I agree with Mitch that it looks like Mg deficiency. But we don't have any info about the grow. Epsom salts will probably fix it. Maybe ad 1/2 tsp/gal. JD
