Poor unappreciated Grapenut! lol Do we even have "friends" anymore? And if I follow you...well why the hell would I worry where you go? You're a big boy. John

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Well I'm a little behind the curve lol...hadn't read your entire thread when I posted that. And now that I have...I still don't have any answers. Good luck though. JD

I gotta lose those waterfalls. HELP!

Sorry Myke...but I gotta agree with this guy. You made all sorts of changes...and are blaming it on the least likely culprit. Looks like Ca def to me...but not too bad. JD

    First Ebb & Flow

Or some kind of snifter port...for anti-siphoning. Anyway...worked good. JD

    First Ebb & Flow

Just wanted to mention...back when I first did hydro, E&F...there was a little fitting that came with my water lift pump. It was a 1/2" fitting with an air connection on the side. Not sure what it was for...I stuck it on the hose going up to the tray. Plugged airline into it...and plugged the...

Will my stunted plant recover (pics)

Not a good idea letting plant sit in runoff water...that water is nasty and you don't want it sucked back up to rootzone. JD

Share Your unhappy exprience with seedbanks

Hi Guys, Just wanted to describe some problems I had with Mr Nice seeds/auctions. They seem to have some quirks in their software...or their protocols. Best to start a MrNice forum account...and then ask them to transfar that membership to MrNice auctions. That's how they have it set up. If...

Need your help. Seedlings are dying

Seedlings do not need any root stimulation. Growing roots is their #1 priority. Root stimulators best left for up-potting. JD

Nute burn or another issue at hand?

...and then put that water on plants? Sure it's safe?

New Research Shows Flushing may not be needed (unflushed may even be better)

But it does prevent plant from absorbing further nutrients...which is why many flush products use chelators. JD

Nute burn or another issue at hand?

Cheech, Your soil plus your FF nutes probably have enough Ca and Mg. I doubt you would see much change if you stop using it. JD

    Coco nutes

This will give you a very close approximation of the Lucas formula. I feel the extra P and K in veg is especially useful in young plants. Real heavy feeding plants may benefit from MaxiGrow which is their veg formula. JD

Nute burn or another issue at hand?

I've heard that silica applied to leaves as foliar spray...will prevent, help control...and may even cure PM. Related to high ph. Now...not relating to your grow...but something I did recently. I was growing out some freebie seeds that were mostly indica. One of the strains had wide thin...

Nute burn or another issue at hand?

Cheech, The FFOF is probably somewhat washed out from all the runoff. Truthfully I haven't kept up...thought you needed fresh eyes. Feed a balanced feeding if you do...none of the "little bit if this...little bit of that" I just use a one part powder and keep nutes really low and do...

16 days into flowering the growth has been stupid explosive.

So...sort of a large plant sea of green. In that case...I agree with the guys that say defoliation is OK now. I've done it in flower with no major setback. Good luck... JD

16 days into flowering the growth has been stupid explosive.

Hi Louis, Looks a little cramped in there. I mean more then a bit of trimming will resolve. Seems to me if you removed a couple of plants and let the rest spread out and grow...might be batter and I doubt it would even effect yield. Just a thought... JD

Nute burn or another issue at hand?

m99, Can't say I agree with you. Nutrient lockouts caused by nutrient salt build-up occur for two interconnected reasons. The high ppm from the salts cause osmotic pressure away from the roots...so both nutrients and water absorption can be affected. Plus the out of range ph...usually low...

Manifold 1st time grower near flip, need help

Hey CC, Glad plants are back on track. Nice and green. That's the green I like on my plants. Sounds like your watering approach has improved. New O2 to the roots is always a good thing. I'm certainly with you on the fan thing. Without enough air movement...a micro air laying thing can...

    Plants slow to flower.

Hii dude, Make sure you aren't giving too much N. Also a small pk boost can help. If it's sativa leaning...try an 11/13 light schedule. Same sats need that. JD
