Fwiw. I just built a light using 6 vero 29B SE on an hlg 320 1050a. I would consider this design setup. Maxes the drivers voltage rating and puts out about 365watts at full power. Consider this setup is the same price but more efficient... And I went with 3 3500 80cri and 3 3000 90cri.

There is nothing wrong mixing and matching cobs if you wire in series. Parallel you would want voltages to match up.

Get a STC-1000 temp controller for like ~$10 and run it off that. Problem solved.

They dont work below certain temps... a window AC unit wont work if its below like 50F...

Why dont you just use a filtered air intake and cool your grow with that and save on AC in the winter when temps are low enough?

Dont the CC CV versions have two internal pots for each setting? So if you were to set the CV at 50 and CC to 1000ma, the driver will try to give it 1000ma in CC mode unless the COB draws 50v before it draws 1000ma at which point it switches to CV mode to limit the voltage and effectively...

Ive tried cheapos off ebay. Didnt work as advertised, will never stray from a quality meanwell driver again.

I have noticed that sometimes when theyre dimmed they do make a VERY low hum. But it is barely audible so it is probably of no concern for him. No fans either, but if you are running them full tilt they might need a bit of airflow as they can get hot.

Could you explain why you need temp and humidity data for outside your grow? It would seem to me that regardless of what the readings are outside the tent, you would just want to hit your target inside the temp. Or do you use ambient air inflow assuming it will help you hit your target...
