5 gallon pot, some sort of Bhut Jolokia. Leaves are supposed to be this huge for this particular strain.(from what I've read, was worried at first)
Currently under 100w of LED bulbs, 6 13W philips 1521 lumen ones, and 1 20W Osram 2452 lumen with the cover still one. Will add 2 20W Osrams with...
Something blue heavy.
Too much red gives peculiar growth, even if it does increase biomass.
5000-6500k, something closer to sunlight.
Or blurple*, which are already in use in commercial greenhouses.

Philips recommends...
Stuff like Bridgelux EB or similar light engines like http://www.samsung.com/global/business/led/products/led-engine/ambient-light-engine/h-series-gen3
Or low powered (under 10w) cobs on a very low profile heatsink like an aluminum baking sheet / high power led diodes.
Or t8/t5 led tubes
If you're in Europe* you could get the 20w Osram Parathom or 13W Philips 1521 lumen bulbs, remove the diffusers and then screw sockets into a piece of wood.
Those should be a bit more efficient than a Mars 300 panel.
Otherwise you've probably already heard enough about DIY cob builds.
But in...
According to the datasheet the fan should last at least 60k hours.
So reliability shouldn't be a concern.
Both the CXM and Citizen cobs can take a case temp of 105 degrees.
If the fan fails the cobs will probably be fine even driven at 100W.
In microgrows where people have replaced their CFLs with LED bulbs (+diffuser removed) you can generally expect the same yield with 1/3rd the wattage.
The QB is a lot more efficient than the average LED bulb.
Those new leds really put a beating on even the most efficient CFL.
The page on your site claims "With well over 1700 micromoles striking the canopy from over 24”"
What's the real output?
Not the center readings, but the total umol output or the total amount of par watts?
Blackdog is going to update their panels after years.
Quoting the output of the "PHYTOMAX-2 200" : "210 actual watts and 320 μMol/s total photon flux"
So 1.52 umol/j for a growlight that's more than 3 dollars per watt, absolutely overpriced.
And the best storebought LED bulbs have better...
