What do you guys think of these?

Their colour temp is 5000k which is far from ideal when flowering. But they're more efficient than T5 at least. I'd advice saving a bit and buy a light from Northern Growlights. I think it's 300-320 pounds when all is said and done (including shipping) For 250 pounds you could also get...

What do you guys think of these?

Or for 30 dollars more this Clu panel of theirs, which puts out 15% or so more light. https://northerngrowlights.com/collections/all/products/photon-180clu-1818?variant=21167728452

chilLED: water cooled, ducted, or active led fixture

Phase change cooler if you're insane. Clu058-3618 at 526 watt and the case temperature still below zero, that kind of shit. .

chilLED: water cooled, ducted, or active led fixture

Water cooling is overkill imo. Unless you're running 500 watt cobs at 500 watt. Ducted air is the nicest that's not overkill.

Is the ViparSpectra Reflector-Series 300W LED Decent?

Cree/Nichia/Osram high power SMDs can. For big companies SMDs is still the easier thing because you can reflow solder and mass produce lights, COBs are easier for DIY but SMDs are easier on a very large scale. But the technique between (white) SMDs and COBs are roughly the same just different...

Clu048-1212 is newer, cheaper, more efficient. Just better. https://cobkits.com/product/citizen-clu048-1212-80cri-choice-of-color-temps/ Clu048-1818 is also an option. CXB2540 is also ok, though 50 watt may be a little high for the chip. But the newer Citizen gen 5 COBs are better

    Husky-7-ft-6000-Lumens-Twin-Head-LED-Work-Light 75watts 4000k

Should still be an easy 100 lm/w, likely closer to 110 lm/w.

Piri Piris mostly. And some Aji Lemons. The piri piris were used for Sambal to share with my family, everybody loved the taste. Although they were at first pretty surprised with the strong heat. Of course it's nothing like a Carolina Reaper or any other superhot. Edit: With tomatoes I have a...

I understand your point too. I personally grow more pepper than other stuff also. Tomatoes are for the balcony. Peppers go indoor. And I agree that those cheap China lights have improved over the years. From the results I've seen. With the weed prices it was more an example that you don't...

150 watt HPS is crap. Same goes for 250. Only becomes worth at 600, but maybe not even that anymore since quality LEDs have become cheaper. 1000 watt HPS is still good, DE HPS is still very good. HPS is more efficient at higher wattages, it's crap at low shit like 150. But like you said, in a...

    [Review] Galaxy hydro 400w COB

You said the results will shut up retards who call it crap. 0.65g/w isn't anything that shuts up people. People call those lights crap precisely because the results will be around those 0.65 g/w. People here don't want 0.65g/w, after 1/2 grows your light will have been the more expensive one...

    [Review] Galaxy hydro 400w COB

If you have the technical skills to do hydroponics then you have the skill to assemble a cob panel. All intimidating at first, but really there's not much to know. And here, if it only consumes 200 watt, we call it a 200 watt panel. Not 400 watt, even if galaxyhydro marketing says 400. We all...

Yea "125 grams, with less than 190w of power consumtion, and its easily possible to get better resuklts with a larger grow room ( mine is tiny) and LST, but i think its nice to see the result on a less than optimised plant... i think the results will shut up more than a few idiots here saying...

    [Review] Galaxy hydro 400w COB

But no joke. Wiring to 6V may hinder cooling to the point where longevity of the lights is pretty impacted. Those galaxyhydro lights never really had the long lasting diodes, but maybe it's a different story with the COB. Maybe after a few grows it will be noticably dimmer.

You could try asking the bin. Maybe they just use the CXA name still but do use top bins. Considering it's a recent addition to their catalogue I think top bin, or 2nd from top bin is very likely.

Most of us have made mistakes in the past. Maybe I should show off my dust collecting Mars and praise it to heavens. Better than Incandescent man. Or should I start a halogen grow journal and brag about 0.07 gram per watt?

Also  @ rewiring the fans to 6v so they aren't as loud as a vacuum cleaner. Another common problem with those cheap Chink leds, so noisy.
