Harvested my girl today. 2 ounces wet. probably will come out with about a 1/2 ounce. A little upset, but i will still end up with twice as much as my first grow. Going to completley upgrade the grow, might move to LED or HPS and going to inveest in some quality genetics.
Pro tips on transplanting
Water 6 hours before
start seedlings in a party cup so you can just cut the cups when transplanting
place the stalk between your ring finger and middle finger and use your other hand to grab the bottom of the container and then flip.
First grow. 1/2 oz between 2 plants (1/4 each) 12/12 FS under a 100w T5HO in one gallon containers. Learned so much. Now with my second harvest I'm getting atleast an ounce dry from one plants. Good enough improvement.
Sorry to reply so late. The issue with coco is that it has no nutrients. This means that newbies will have to measure out their nutrients will is a huge task for them. Honestly, coco/hydro isn't that much different. As you can tell I also don't beleive that newbies should start in hydro...
^ Good advice. Before I LST i water the night before so that way the cells are swollen and flexible. I've never actually seen anyone say that though in a LST guide. Anyway, just tape it up for 2 weeks and don't touch it. Not sure if anyone has used a natural glue but it could be useful.
