Forgot to mention. The wife keeps her chicks in the basement, well this morning one of the dogs knocked the heat lamp into the box. If it had happened during the night we would of lost the house, greenhouse and all the seedlings we just started.
You can see my hand print, from wiping out the...
They do pretty well for me. Just wish I could run some of the longer running strains you folks can on the west coast.
Threw a track on my excavator today. Knew I shouldn't be running it without greasing it up. But the gun was at our other house.
When I put up my homade greenhouse. I set a 64ft level string line and drove 2ft (some longer) 2+4 pointed stakes flush to the string line 4ft on center. Measured over 24ft squared it, set another string line and did the same again. Then screwed my bottom plate across those stakes.
We get some...
That's good to know.
All the seeds I have started right now are for outdoors. I haven't even touched the auto's.
We had a small fire last night and got rid of all the old plants.
So I got the rest of my seeds yesterday and now have them all germinating. I actually have a bunch popping up all ready.
Yesterday I also started stripping off all the old plastic. Opened the door to the greenhouse and remembered just how much I dislike trimming. I actually left a bunch of...

I personally try to find strains that flower in less then 60 days (that's after the hrs of light hit that magic #). Most of the strains I run are 56 and less. I'm also on the East Coast, and I have the advantage of...
Wow I just looked up the golden arm you mentioned, $1,500 for what looks like less then $150 in square steel tubing. Another $300 for the push rods.
I've seen automated versions that look similar. Have never really looked to seriously into light dep due to our short growing season here. This...
Maybe you should use a nutrient line better suited for outdoor grows.
A little reading through some of the outdoor veteran growers threads might shed some light on a better product for large outdoor grows.
If your growing with seedlings. Figure out the amount of light there will be outdoors in 6-8 weeks. Then set your light schedule the same.
A seedling naturally (unless forced under 12/12 lighting) takes 6-8 weeks before sexual maturity.
I've had seedling under 24 hour light until thier 3rd to...
