We didn't move into this new house until June 15th last year. So we worked hard to get that greenhouse up. The plants didn't go in until June 21st.
We had to carefully finish the roof strapping, as the plants had been planted at this point.
The frame was all cut from 2" by 4" by 16' pressure treated. I bought it all as one order so my local lumber company cut me a discount.
All together the frame and fencing was $2,000. The 6 mil plastic was another $200. The plastic didn't survive the winter, this year we'll be using 6 mil...
Some auto seeds to play around with.
I only have room for 24 plants in my 24' by 64' greenhouse, below are some of the seeds we'll be using. The rest will be starters for fellow growers.
Outdoor order #1
Outdoor order #2
Outdoor order #3
Outdoor order #4, along with a few for indoors.
All this time I've been trying to grow nice white roots..
Now I find out I've been looking in the wrong place. You mean to tell me the money grows up top...??
Has anyone else noticed the Euro to US dollar conversion that they are using is way off?
On a 35 Euro seed purchase it should be $37.75 instead it's $50. ($12 extra dollars).
Also they haven't updated any Promos since February.
Working on getting my seed order together for April 1st.
Kinda feel like I'm running a bit behind but this is the same time I ordered them last year. Maybe next year I'll step up my seed ordering date.
Hopefully soon I'll have something to share.
For now I guees I could get my excavator...
Critical 2.0 was one of my latest finishers last year. ( mid October )
My earliest finisher was Frisian Dew. ( mid September )

Looks like everyone is gearing up for 2015. (Nice greenhouse Buzz)
I'm just getting ready to order my beans. Due to moving last spring my plants didn't get into the ground till June 22nd. This year we'll be getting them in atleast a few weeks earlier.
Happy growing everyone..!!
4 large racks and a screen door for sugar trim and we are still running out of room.
So I threw this rack together today with some shade cloth.
Mostly sugar trim and popcorn bud. Except one section of Critical Hog.
What a messed up day today has been.
I was up all night as usual doing security. Went to sleep in the AM, while my wife got the trim crew up and running.
When we bought this new property I would stop at adjoining neighbors when I saw them outdoors and introduced myself to them. (Only ones...
Haven't seen a few of our fellow growers on in a little while. I'd imagine they are all busy trimming. I know I've been very busy lately and haven't had time to post as much.
Hope everyone is Safe and having a Bountiful Harvest...!!!
Why do you think I follow the threads from you cali growers?
I'm a quik learn though. We'll see how next year goes now that I'm all settled in. (Didn't move in to the new house till late June)
Statistically, grow for grow, you Cali boy's got us easterners beat hands down..!!
I may just have to buy some land on the other side of the hemisphere so I can move there in the winter and continue to grow outdoors. J/K
Best of luck to you ruby fruit...!!!
1000 should work in there, with adequate air flow.
When setting up patients for a 6 plant grow. We normally do 7ft x 7ft x 8ft h, or 8 x 8 x 8 if they need a little more room to move around. 2 1000 watt lights, 1 fan for lights and one for air movement.
I think it's mostly because in the old days they always did things in cycles. Similar to how they watched for summer solstice. They would plant on a full moon and harvest on a harvest moon.
