I always keep hermie seeds (shit seeds) as testers for new soil mixes and tent setup tests. Just something I do. I never let them get too far into flowering, if I let them get there at all.
I run both as I dabble in breeding. My male to female ratio doesn't stay constant but it's never been...
Just to be clear, I didn't call you an idiot. I said the opposite.
Anyhow, I'm game for playing nice. However, we have different grow styles and that is the apparent cause for butting heads.
That being said, I don't think you're wrong and didn't claim that you were. I simply said I can get...
Excessive chlorine could be your problem. The problem is, you don't know what's in those ppm. Could be a hell of a lot of fluoride (you don't want to know what they can legally allow into city water) or iron. Best to run a filter setup and then bubble the hell of it. Ceramic filter into a...
My mother always told me not to argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Now I don't think you're an idiot (quite intelligent it would seem), but close minded ignorance is right up there with idiocy.
Do you know what happens when you cold grow...
Be pissy bro. I didn't say Tournois was the foremost expert in growing. I just said he had some interesting info to pass along. Never hurts to seek out more knowledge. Apparently, since it doesn't fit into your style of growing, it's shit?
I refuse to keep arguing with you over some trivial...
Weed is very easily trained. It doesn't have to look like a weed plant if you don't want it to. Train it to look like a rhododendron and put it in denser foliage.
Also helps if you cut off the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket and stick it in the ground. Protects the roots from invaders until they...
No problem at all. Scrog will be better than mainlining for less light.
What kind of fixtures are your cfls going in? Most of the time you can tie them from the top poles of the tent and drop them down to any level at any place desired. Depends on the fixture though.
Well, I'm no expert breeder. I just dabble amongst my own genetics, working for desirable traits through cross/back/in breeding. Just make sure you keep breeding at least one solid set of genes back into the pool. Work for your traits slowly. You may pop 300 seeds and only find one that carries...
Yea. I've run all the way up to 80 for seedlings. I like to stress them out of the gate. Growth rate in the seedling stage, at least in my experience, grows hardier when raised in true spring temperatures. These fuckers pop when night temps are still going down into the 40s and day temps may...
Ideally, hanging them on the outskirts of your plants, or in any pockets between growths would give you the most benefit.
It's really going to depend on how you train them to fill under the light.
I grow at 60 degrees in the seedling stage. My temps go below that, sometimes down to 56. Never had an issue.
I don't drop them that low again until late flowering but I have yet to notice any ill effects.
