I like the cobs but the issue is getting heatsinks into Canada(shipping) or getting them at all. I am quickly running out of time to get a veg setup. Honestly didnt think I would have this much trouble getting heatsinks. I got to admit I like the idea of no heat sinks.

That's pretty cool. I can use the strips much better in my setup I think. Going to look at 4 Samsung strips and figure out a driver.

Hello all. I have an area about 30"x20"x4' I am going to turn this into my veg/drying tent. I am curious if anyone has results from the rapidled rooting kit. Torn between the kit and a couple citizen 1818s. Can't find sinks for the cobs so looking at other options Thanks

My issue is still heatsinks. Trying to find predrilled for clu048 1818 is damn near impossible it seems.

Any idea when you will have heat sinks for the 1212s?

Why did you drop? my 4x clu 1825s are running steady at 310 watts and the plants love it. I have still had zero heat issues to date.

DigiKey prices really suck. I can order from rapidled and even with shipping and exchange it is cheaper. Digikey wants $100 for 10 x xml2 and the whole kit including heat sink cost $99 at rapidled.

Looks like the cheap box was discontinued $30 now. Potentiometer depends on build. 50k or 100k. Just search and buy cheapo. The source carries diodes if needed as well. I have since found amazon much cheaper.

I am currently running 4 x CLU 1825 3500k in a 3x3 flowering tent. I would like to add far red and or uvb using leds. Is one more beneficial than the other and what do you recommend? I have been looking at rapidled far red kit but no look with uv. Thanks!

I belive that's what the rapidled rooting g kit uses. More par output than 2 x t5 I believe at 40 watts.
