It doesnt run to hot, even at all, you actually might experience the opposite. With 5 panels in a 4x4x7 tent, my room temperature doesnt go higher than 21°C. And there is a switch on the panel for the 3 different clone/mother/flower modes, it looks more like a jumper than a switch but it works...
